THE HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Royal Oak is a desirable, thriving community that benefits from a walkable downtown, diversity of high-quality neighborhoods and a long history of championing the provision of parks.
  • To build on these strengths and ensure Royal Oak’s future success, the City enlisted the team of DPZ, McKenna, LandUseUSA and Jacobs to create a new Master Plan for the City.
  • The resulting deliverable will provide Royal Oak leadership with a roadmap to continued success as a great place to live, work, shop, dine, visit and recreate, and confirm the City’s status as a model of sustainable, resilient growth and economic success.
WORTH NOTING:

The new Royal Oak Master Plan will translate initiatives in sustainability, climate action, age inclusiveness and housing diversity into actionable land use policy.
