Susan Knipper

Susan is a graphic designer with over 20 years of experience turning complex ideas into creative, easy-to-digest visuals. She approaches every project with curiosity, research, and a love for finding smart, simple solutions that connect, inform, and inspire.

Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud, her work spans corporate branding, long-document architecture, project management, apparel, social media, web design, photography, signage, and event planning. Her diverse background brings both creative intuition and practical experience to every project.

Outside of her professional work, Susan co-founded Simple Threads, a community-driven apparel brand that celebrates hometown pride. With a love for her hometown of Plymouth, Michigan, she and her co-founders created the DTP (Downtown Plymouth) logo and tagline, “Meet Me in DTP.” The brand expanded statewide, offering customizable designs that helped other communities celebrate their own sense of place.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan.
