Assistant Planner

Paige Smith

Paige Smith is an Assistant Planner at McKenna, currently based in the Northville office and set to transition to the Detroit office later this summer. She brings hands-on experience in both municipal and academic planning environments. As a Community Development Intern with the City of Mason, Paige contributed to zoning ordinance updates, prepared Master Plan amendments, and led community engagement efforts. Her graduate work at the National Charrette Institute focused on developing engagement guidebooks and analyzing public input to support strategic planning.

Paige earned both her Master of Urban Planning and her Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University. Her work reflects a strong commitment to collaborative, data-informed planning that centers the voices of the community.
