Jacob VanBoxel, MSA

Jacob VanBoxel is a Principal Planner at McKenna, working in both the Grand Rapids and Northville offices. With a strong background in public administration and community development, Jacob brings extensive experience overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects, directing municipal operations, and leading cross-functional teams across government departments. His strategic planning expertise supports effective decision-making and the efficient allocation of public resources.

Jacob has successfully applied for and administered grants, created comprehensive plans, and led initiatives that foster inclusive and equitable communities. His approach to planning is both strategic and collaborative, ensuring that outcomes are not only visionary but achievable.

He holds a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Public Administration from Ferris State University.
