Gage Belko

Associate Planner

Gage is an assistant planner that serves communities through comprehensive, parks and recreation planning, and sub-area planning; zoning administration; and site plan review. He manages day-to-day operations for several communities by administering boards, commissions, and grant programs and directly interfacing with residents, business owners, and developers.

Gage is deeply interested in public participation, information accessibility, and urban design, employing these interests to create thoughtful, thorough, and attractive plans while maintaining a strong sense of community vision. He is process-driven and values partnerships with local officials, community staff, and stakeholders, believing the best work comes from collaboration. Through his hands-on management style and willingness to do what it takes, he helps communities deliver exceptional products and services.

Gage holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan, Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
