Doug Plachcinski

Principal Planner

Doug’s planning experience concentrates on zoning administration, transportation, and capital improvement programming. His planning career began in 1995 as an intern for Durham, NC and he’s worked in dozens of communities since. He’s worked on projects all over Michigan, North Carolina, and the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. He was an adjunct professor at Wayne State and Eastern Michigan Universities, instructing graduate level Transportation Planning and Policy for several semesters. His BA in Geography is from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and MSCE is from Wayne State University. You can find him running all over the map in his free time.
