Vice President
Christopher Khorey, AICP
Across Michigan and the Midwest, Chris Khorey empowers communities to be the best versions of themselves. His wide-ranging experience – from zoning to land use planning to economic development to mobility – allows him to customize McKenna’s services to the needs of each place he serves.
Chris is passionate about the culture and history of communities, diving in deep to truly understand what makes each neighborhood unique, and how its residents dream about the future. It is his job to capture those dreams and turn them into actionable planning and zoning documents that maximize quality of life.
Chris helped Holland, Ludington, and Barry County win awards from the Michigan Association of Planning for their visionary plans and ordinances. And he was personally honored by Crain’s Grand Rapids Business as one of their 40 Under 40 in the class of 2024.
Chris lives and breathes McKenna’s slogan of “Communities for Real Life” – he dedicates his talent to on-the-ground improvements that make a real difference in real people’s lives.
