Charles (Chuck) Earl Jr.
Chuck Earl, Building Services Manager, has more than three decades of experience in municipal building inspection, code administration, and department leadership across Southeast Michigan. In his role, Chuck delivers plumbing and mechanical inspections to communities ranging from Flint to Marshall to Gibraltar, serves as a key contributor to the Blue Oval Battery Plant project in Marshall, and leads the Lincoln Park building department, managing a team of seven inspection and administrative professionals.
A licensed Master Plumber, Registered Code Official, State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor, Boiler Installer, and ICC-certified Plumbing Inspector (Commercial and Residential), Chuck has held building official and inspector roles with numerous municipalities throughout his career, including the Charter Township of Brownstown, the City of Rockwood, Grosse Ile Township, the Village of South Rockwood, and Ypsilanti Township. He has also been a dedicated leader within his profession, having served as President of the Plumbing Inspectors Association of Michigan and the Southeast Michigan Mechanical and Plumbing Inspectors Associations.
Outside of work, Chuck is an active member of the City of Trenton Planning Commission, where he currently serves as Vice Chair, reflecting his deep commitment to the communities he calls home.
