McKenna created an updated plan that incorporated ten years of economic development planning and additional planning concepts that help addressed the needs of the Township. These concepts helped the community promote beautification and a positive image by presenting a neighborhood by neighborhood approach to combat blight, focus on placemaking by developing a plan for defining and marketing Downton Buena Vista, and be supportive of new downtown development through the Town Center Redevelopment Plan.
