Participants will learn the best way to maintain order, enforce procedures, handle conflicts of interest, manage disputes, and engage in effective deliberations at community meetings. A Q and A session will offer participants solutions and advice to address specific challenges they’ve faced.
“We’ll also be focusing on lessons learned on the battlefield—real life examples of how things can go very well or very wrong depending on preparedness and approach,” said Chesnut. “Whether seasoned or brand new to the job, this is a great opportunity for planners, commissioners and board members to add to their toolkit.”
This webinar is exclusively for MAP members. Annual MAP membership is $60 for most, with group discounts available. To become a member visit www.planningmi.org/mainmembership.asp or call 734-913-2000.
