NEW McKENNA PLANNER SPECIALIZES IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION

Region’s largest planning and design firm says new hire already aiding client communities

(Lebanon, OH; June 12, 2006) McKenna Associates, the Great Lakes region’s largest community planning and design firm, announced the addition of Brian R. Forschner, AICP, to its rapidly growing Ohio team. Forschner joins McKenna with diverse project experience and particular success in creating comprehensive, neighborhood and redevelopment plans. He also specializes in analyzing the costs and benefits of tax abatement and tax increment financing, and has already begun assisting McKenna’s client communities with planning and economic development.

Prior to joining McKenna Associates, Forschner served as a senior planner for the City of Middletown, Ohio and as a community planner for the City of Philadelphia. He has previously assisted the Cities of Dublin, Oxford and New Carlisle; Ohio with zoning administration. He holds a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Ohio State University, and a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in both Geography and Urban and Regional Planning. He is available to communities throughout the Midwest and is based at McKenna’s Southwest Ohio branch office in downtown Lebanon.
