McKENNA ASSOCIATES NAMES NEW MANAGER OF WEST MICHIGAN BRANCH

(Kalamazoo, MI; April 10, 2006) Community planning and design firm McKenna Associates, Inc. has appointed Gregory E. Milliken, AICP, as Manager of its West Michigan office in Kalamazoo. Previously a Senior Planner for the firm, Milliken will now oversee all West Michigan operations, which are headquartered in downtown Kalamazoo.

“Greg Milliken’s inventive community planning and design ideas have been especially well-received in the communities of West Michigan. We’re very pleased  to be naming him to this important position” said Phillip C. McKenna, president of McKenna Associates, Inc. “Greg performs at a consistently high level and his success is impressive.”

Milliken joined McKenna Associates in 2003, having previously worked as a planner for the City of Westerville, OH. A Midwest native, Milliken received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and a master’s of Urban Planning from the University of Washington in Seattle. He is nationally certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Milliken replaces as manager Katherine Kaufman, who is returning to a legal career, but will be available to McKenna clients on a limited basis.
